Who was your most memorable patient?
One of my young patients was born at 24 weeks. We took care of him for seven months, during which he and his whole family became very close to the staff members in my unit.

Would you encourage other men to choose nursing as a career and why?
Yes, I certainly would. The wide variation of settings and specialties available, as well as the increasing demand for nurses provide opportunities that are unmatched in almost any other field. Nursing is my second career. It's hard work, but the satisfaction I receive is infinite.
