Who was your most memorable patient?
I had a patient in the ICU who became critically ill. Even towards the end, he and his family exhibited great courage and faith - at times even encouraging the staff himself. I didn't find out until much later that I had become a member of the church where he had been a member.

Would you encourage other men to choose nursing as a career and why?
Yes. The job growth and employment outlook is great. You have a choice of many different specialties.
